AN ADVENTURE IN MUSIC
I’m a party DJ, based in London, serving the UK. I mix across decades, genres, and eras, guided by the story of the night and the people on the dance floor.
I DJ live, taking people on a journey through the music they love, back to the friendships, places, and moments that shaped them, while leaving room for something new, spontaneous, and unexpected. Something wild.
As a child, I would get lost in music, from rave tapes on my headphones to the rock albums my dad loved on long car journeys. Like many DJs, a wide range of music influenced me.
I was drawn to DJing because of how music connects a dance floor, when a whole room shares the same moment, waiting for the drop or singing every word at the top of their voice.
A single track can instantly bring back a memory and the feelings attached to it, giving emotion something real to hold onto. It’s the soundtrack to life’s meaningful moments.
DJ SAFARI PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is simple. Every celebration is different, and it starts by understanding the story at its centre.
Is it a wedding where guests will be reminded of times gone by, that one club everyone went to, and the tunes that played week in, week out?
Or is it a birthday built around a specific decade, where certain tracks, artists, and genres defined an era and hearing those sounds instantly pulls people back to those days?
Sometimes it’s a room full of people of different ages and backgrounds, where the challenge is to move confidently through styles, eras, and tempos so everyone feels included and united on the dance floor.
Whatever the event, each set is individually designed to let people both reminisce and make new memories together. I take contemporary and nostalgic tracks and mix them in unconventional ways to create something your guests haven’t heard before.
I plan meticulously, but I also trust my instincts and respond to the mood of the night as it unfolds. That balance is where the magic happens. Every event is a chance to explore something new, being open to what the night could become.
With more than 20 years of experience, I bring curiosity, imagination, and composure to every celebration, creating energy, surprise, and moments that stay with people long after the night ends.
